Clubhouse, San Isidro Village, Batangas

Me, Ailene, and the kids attended the 7th birthday of my cousin’s son. It’s a day for the kids… There were cotton candies, ice cream, fish balls, etc. The party was hosted by McDonalds and the kids’ foods were catered by them as well. As for the adults, a separate catering service was commissioned.

There were lots of games, balloons, giveaways and toys. My kids enjoyed particularly my youngest, Gio.

Immediately after the formal party is a swimming pool party. Inasmuch as we like Gelo and Gio to take a dip at the pool, we have to say “pass” this time as it is already late and my wife and I still have some important matters to attend to. To appease the kids, Ailene and I promised that we will take them swimming some other time.

The party was held at the clubhouse of San Isidro Village located at San Isidro, Batangas, Philippines – a decent place for parties and swimming.

UP Balay Kalinaw

My wife had a planning activity at UP Bahay Kalinaw located at Guerrero corner Dagohoy Streets, UP Camplus, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.

Not your ideal place though. But if you need a place or venue for meetings, seminars, conference, etc. away from office distractions, not to mention, budget constraints, then you can try this place.

Chez Amis Function Hall

It's Gelo's 7th Birthday!

We all had fun. It was an afternoon full of games and suprises. The kids enjoyed the mascot, clowns, balloon twisting, magic tricks, etc.

We had it a place called Chez Amis Function Hall in Hilltop, Batangas City, Philippines. The place has great ambience especially at night. It's ideal for Weddings, Birthdays, etc.

They serve good food too, from a range of Php 300 and up per plate. Of course, the place fee rate is free if you get the food from them. If you decide to get from a third party food supplier, then you have to pay Php 15,000 just for the place alone. The place can house around 400 guests comfortably.

We thank our family, friends, and relatives for gracing another milestone of Gelo. Happy Birthday, Son. I hope you enjoyed the celebration as much as we did.

Casa Blanca

A venue for garden wedding. The place is Casa Blanca in Batangas City (very near SM Batangas), Philippines.

Taken way back February 2005 during my cousin Riezl's wedding, with my son Gelo as ring bearer, and my sister Abigail as one of the secondary sponsors.

The place is spacious at a reasonable price.

My personal rating: 6.5 out of 10.

AIM Conference Center Manila

Every year, the company is having its kick-off meeting to discuss each groups plan, goals, and budget for the year. It is also in this event that the company is giving awards to its employees for their valued contribution to the success of the company. Awards included are citation awards, outstanding employee awards, and presidential award or employee of the year award. Perfect attendance awards are given as well. Mind you, I was awarded as one of the Outstanding Employee of the Year for 2005.

It was a very promising year as I listen attentively to the powerpoint presentation of every group. But to meet the goals, it is necessary that all employees provide their fare share of hard work.

Towards the end of the event, an open forum is conducted presided by no less than the President and CEO of our company. Suggestions, recommendations, clarifications, and complaints were tackled. This is a much awaited session as this aims to provide enlightenment and explanation to all employee-related issues in the company.

The kick-off meeting was held at AIM Conference Center Manila. It is located in the city center of Makati five minutes walking distance from Greenbelt and Ayala Avenue. The exact address as follows:
